I loved the Logitech TrackMan trackballs, especially the "marble" versions. I have used almost every version they have produced. This particular model of the famous marble is my favorite: precise control of the ball with the thumb and easy operation of the buttons and scroll wheel, all combined with a perfect ergonomic design that allows for hours of comfortable use.
When I recently moved to a Mac, I reluctantly but obediently got a Mac Power mouse. Big mistake. I hate, hate, hate using a mouse! So I plugged my old TrackMan into the Mac keyboard and...voila! - my right hand was happy again. And it zoomed across the screen effortlessly. And joyfully experimenting with the superiority of a right-click context menu (of which Control-Click BS is something I'll never understand about Macs).
Since I became a Mac enthusiast and would never go back to the PC, especially now that I discovered that I could use my beloved trackball, I decided to enjoy the convenience of the new wireless TrackMan. It's the same great product I've been using for years, just without the "rope". Others may complain about the size of the transmitter and the length of the cable it connects to the computer, but it's easy to hide. My keyboard drawer is wonderfully organized, just with my new ultra-thin Mac keyboard and wireless TrackMan. Life is sweet!
If like me, you prefer a trackball to a mouse, you'll love this wireless version. If you're a regular mouse user, I suggest you consider the liberating experience of holding your hand in one place and "running your fingers".
